FlamingoCon #29 was held on June 8th, 2025 at the South County Civic Center in Delray Beach. Over 200 happy gamers came out to participate in the fun. Here’s some highlights!

Attendees were greeted by our staff at the registration desk. There, they were able to buy tickets and check in, get information, enter our prize drawing, and buy snacks and pins.

Gamers were treated to a large playing area, with a mix of long and round tables to accommodate various game types, with more tables available in the lobby for play.

Our library contained over 250 games for participants to choose from. This was also the place to go for “Play to Win” games. Though many people bring their own games to play, we had a total of 120 game checkouts!

The Flea Market gave our gamers a chance to create some space for more games, and to bring home another long-desired game for their collection.

Our vendor, Board of Playing, came all the way from Orlando to provide gaming t-shirts made on site. Did you get one?

Our long-time supporter, TMI Food Truck was on hand from 11-2 for all your lunchtime needs. Judging from the crowd around the truck, they were a big hit!

With multiple “play to wins” and door prize games generously donated by Tower of Games and Rio Grande Games, we were able to send quite a few people home with a free new game of their own!

Flamingocon Afterparty?? Yes Please! NoBo Brewing Company was the place to be after our doors closed at 9pm. With raffles, food, brews, and lots more gaming fun, many of our participants kept the con going until the wee hours.

Flamingocon was founded in 2015, the awesome idea of Cindy Brodrick, an avid board gamer. As president of the organization, she watched it grow from a small gathering of close friends to the nearly 250 participant convention that we saw on Saturday. Sadly, Cindy has decided to step down from the presidency as she will be moving out of town, but Flamingocon will continue, and Cindy will remain as a member of the board. We presented her with this plaque, as she is and will always be a LEGEND.

Thank you to all of our staff, volunteers, supporters and participants. We couldn’t do this without YOU!
