What a wild Flamingocon!
Something the attendees missed was we had 4 volunteers unable to attend at last minute and the front door of the hall was locked. And we couldn't figure out how to unlock it until the last minute. And two lights were…
We could not be more pleased with the turnout and experience of our first minicon. Great games, great volunteers, great attendees, great attitudes and -- thankfully! -- great weather.
Here are some pix!

Good turnout!

Merchants & Marauders... Seriously there were too many games to keep track of. Probably half the games played at the con were brought by other people.

Between that pink building and the two white Trump Plaza towers.
If you see this church below while on Flagler Blvd, you are in the right place! (Yes, our event is at a church, but FlaMinGoCon is a secular event and everyone is welcome. This church is just nice enough to rent us a nice sized hall with plenty of parking.)
Following GPS to the address, 211 Trinity Place, will get you on the SOUTH side of the church. The entrance you are looking for is on the NORTH side of the church -- facing a small street called Tanglewood. If you don't see a big parking lot with a big tree... keep going around the church.
In the back is the entrance to the parish hall. Look for the red awning behind this tree.
FlaMinGoCon the First on January 24 will feature a Roborally tournament and a Splendor Tournament. Demos of both games will be offered earlier in day. Prizes are adorable plastic flamingos. No, you can't pay your rent with pink rubber duckies, but your bathroom will be much cuter!
