FlaMinGoCon Quad – Feb 6, 2016 – schedule

10917046_342703275917037_8166384787140721672_n 9:00 am: Game tables and library open 9 am to sunset: Courtyard: social games like Werewolf, Resistance, and new similar games being demoed by their creators liars dice 9 am to 8 pm: Library: social games like Werewolf, Resistance, Monikers et al, and loud games like Liars Dice 2 pm: A semi-epic game of 7 Ages. This game typically takes all day, but with the late start, might get thru 4 or 5 ages. Kinley is hosting and is able to work players in and out of the game, but the game is best with those willing to commit to 6 hours. All day: Teaching of Camel Up, Lords of Waterdeep, Village Crone, 10402770_10206501467633619_4695977739135209659_nAlien Frontiers, RoboRally, Loot Letter, Splendor. We aren’t bothering to schedule a set time for any of these because we never end up following the schedule. We will make an announcement when a game is starting, and/or you can ask at the library about a demonstration, and we will get one started. 10403187_410350039152360_7055697734738444787_n All Day: Play To Win games: Anyone who plays these games during FlaMingoCon Quad can enter 11951215_442695945917769_9195949945300887036_nto win the game. Only those who have played one have a chance of winning it. This is to make sure the winner really likes the game and will play it again, not just let it collect dust on the shelf. Games available for Play to Win are Arboretum, Simpsons trivia, and an Original Treasure Chest from Stonemaier that can be used with Euphoria or Viticulture or Stone Age. 7:30 pm: Drawing for Play To Win games. Who wants to roll some dice! Let's get this thing started... FlaMinGoCon is a month away (or less if you are not reading this the day I write it). Time to make plans, choose games, get organized. Step one:  Buy tickets!
Step two: Tell your friends and get them to buy tickets! Step three: Get some games together if you want to play and teach ones you own. Be prepared to check out and learn new games with other board game geeks! Step four: Get directions! Step five: Have fun!
