Flamingocon, Inc.

Flamingocon, Inc., is a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization, based in Palm Beach County, Florida. It was founded in 2018 for the purposes of running the popular Flamingocon board gaming event. This event is our main fundraiser for Flamingocon, Inc.’s goal to bring board gaming to students, patients and disadvantaged populations.

We believe board games can advance education and face-to-face socialization for all ages, in addition to being just plain fun. We are working to build community and encourage social harmony by providing opportunities to play games in a respectful, inclusive setting.

We donate board games and our time teaching games to student groups, medical facilities or non-profits that help kids. If you are such an organization and you want to learn more, contact us at flamingogamescon@gmail.com.

Flamingocon

The Flamingocon board gaming convention began on January 24, 2015, in a church hall in downtown West Palm Beach. Twelve events over four years later, we grew into a non-profit and looked for a bigger space. Now the Flamingocon board gaming convention is held at the South County Civic Center in Delray Beach once a year.

This con is about tabletop gaming. That’s what we are passionate about and want to share with friends and soon-to-be friends all over South Florida. Our events always have a library of 100+ games you can try out or learn, as well as games you can win to take home, a spot to buy and sell game, and loads of friendly fellow gamers who want to play too!

At Flamingocon, the experience is about playing board games. You will find board, card, dice, and role-playing games at our events. Play your favorite games or take the opportunity to try out new games. If you love board games, this is the con for you.

Flamingocon and Flamingocon Inc. were started by several Palm Beach County locals who enjoy playing games together. We have attended numerous cons of various types, including a 5-day gaming convention in Orlando, and wanted to bring a taste of that to South Florida.
